New Years Eve Wedding at The Amadeus, London

Wedding At The Amadeus, Madia Vale, London

Helena and James chose New Years Eve to celebrate their marriage at The Amadeus in London with their nearest and dearest. The Amadeus is a wedding venue in Maida Vale, North West London. Previously a Welsh Presbyterian chapel but now renovated and the ideal space to party for  a wedding in central London, especially on New Years Eve!

Bridal Preparation in Peckham

The day started at Helena and James home in Peckham where the bride to be prepared with bridesmaids and family. James was nearby too as you will find out in the next scene!

"First Look" - London Street wedding photos

James had been nearby while Helena prepared so they could have a “first look” before their ceremony. The groom waiting around a corner from the bride-to-be until ready. Sweet moment! Since the ceremony was going to be at 4pm and it would be dark they had also decided it would now be a good time to sneak in a few photos.

Vintage London Wedding Bus

The groom made his way to the venue to greet the guests while the bridal party all boarded a vintage bus to make their way into central London. Helena was presented with a very touching book of memories made by her bridesmaids, including holiday photos and even some taken that very morning!

Wedding At The Amadeus, Madia Vale, London

The Amadeus was lit up with fairy lights for the wedding ceremony and warm cosy feel from the winter evening. There were readings from friends and family in front of a huge room of wedding guests, a very happy occasion.

Helena and James made a quick dash outside straight after their ceremony and had 10 mins together for a breather. We had great fun creating these wedding photos using just the available light in the nearby mews.

Wedding Reception at The Amadeus

The drinks reception was downstairs in The Amadeus. A full room of greetings and warmth to get the party started. The speeches from the Bride, Father of the Bride, Groom and of course best man were all amazing, loved the feel of doing them before the meal, felt real and everyone was engaged. After the speeches guests were ushered up stairs to the room which was laid out beautifully by the caterers; “Tasting Plates”. The food was amazing!

New Years Eve Party!

The Amadeus was a perfect London location for a party! In this unique wedding there was also a raffle! The table place names were put into a tombola for the groom’s father and an usher to call out the winners. There were mixed feelings about the prizes, mostly loads of laughter! Once the grand prize was given (a huge Toblerone, what else!) the guests moved back into the main hall at The Amadeus where the dance floor had been cleared.

A really brilliant fun wedding, very unique, beautiful and all the guests clearly had a great time too. Happy New year!

Thank you
