Southdowns Manor Wedding
Charlotte and Scott chose the ideal venue for their spring wedding. Nestled in the Southdowns on the West Sussex / Hampshire border in the heart of the countryside Southdowns Manor really feels like an escape from the rest of the world. It is hidden down country lanes away from the hustle bustle with the only sounds being the birds and the breeze.
Storytelling Wedding Photography
The preview video above gives a feel of Charlotte and Scott’s day. The storytelling style of my candid wedding photography shows the reality that makes true memories; peoples genuine feelings and reactions, laughter and love; moments for the happy couple to truly treasure.
The Bride and groom prepared for their wedding at Southdowns Manor using the suites and the bridal preparation room. Their ceremony was held indoors at Southdowns Manor and after the newly married couple greeted their guests in the Sussex lounge. They later had a chance for a quick little escape (plus some little helpers!) in the grounds of Southdowns Manor and where Scott surprised Charlotte with a present. You will have to watch to find out if she liked it!.
On entrance to their wedding breakfast the couple were greeted by all the guests and confetti. Speeches followed, and of course the dinner, and big day was rounded up with cutting; first the cake and then shapes on the dance floor. The cake was home-made and I’m told was completed in the nick of time the night before. A nice little touch with cake toppers which featured figurines that the couple first met dressed as at a fancy dress party years before.
For a finale the happily married couple snuck outside to enjoy a closing moment to their very special day.
I really loved photographing the story of Charlotte and Scott’s wedding. They enjoyed the day and all the guests were lovely kind people; good fun too. I have added a few select images to tell the story of their day below.
Thank you!
