Editorial: The Terrace Hairdressing for Men, Southsea, Hampshire.
I introduced The Terrace to ETC Magazine and made their advertisements. With this relationship in place we were soon provided with Editorial placement.
The Terrace wanted to promote their new shaving services in the editorial so I booked in London based model, Michael James Porter, for a hair styling and luxury shave day. I asked The Terrace to go about their business as usual and I set up lighting in the salon to produce monochrome images with impact. Since the salon was open, other customers enjoyed the experience of watching us work as they had their hair cut! I have produced photography for The Terrace since they were established. I am proud to have been called back to produce photography for their marketing and media many times.
MARKETING: Musgrave Transport, Hauling Success at Buckingham Palace. London.
Following major renovations at Buckingham Palace, Musgrave Transport was entrusted with the prestigious task of removing temporary structures used during the project.
With little notice they sought my expertise to document this significant event. I travelled to London and captured striking images of their trucks including the all important images the trucks exiting the main palace gates.
I delivering the finished photos by the next morning, ready for immediate use. This swift and detailed coverage highlighted both the efficiency of the haulage team and the grandeur of the palace setting.
Advertisements for Rachel George shoe and accessory boutique in Chichester, West Sussex.
We originally discussed the idea of bringing their marketing back to their show-off their product in a simple yet stylish and elegant manner. I created photographs of key products and did the graphic design to produce their advertisements.
I also liaised directly with the magazine for them to make it an easy service. We ventured on from the simplistic styled advertisements towards modelled lifestyle shoots putting the idea in the customers mind for the right seasons. I have been producing Rachel Georges photography, graphic design and advertisements since April 2014.
Front cover and lead feature for “Dee’s Sweet Surprises”, a bespoke cake maker in Portsmouth, Hampshire.
Dee (Diane Woolmer) was referred to me to photograph her award winning icing designs and a particular cake she had made for a submission to an American cake magazine. Using studio lighting I produced Dee’s cake photography with impact that won her not just a full feature in the magazine but also the front cover. Fortunately as well as an overall shot of the cake I had used photography to show-off all the intricate detail Dee puts into her cakes. We also created portraits of Dee which were then included in the feature article about her business and her prized cake and icing skills.
Cake Central is the worlds largest cake decorating and icing magazine.
