I’m Adam, a photographer based in Bournemouth and Dorset, creating photographs that feel natural, grounded, and true to the people in them.
I work with individuals, small businesses, fitness professionals, and couples who care about how something feels, knowing that when it feels right, it naturally performs well too.
Whether I’m photographing relaxed portraits, fitness and wellbeing photography,
commercial projects, or small weddings, my approach stays the same. Calm, unforced, and human.
I work in a friendly, low-pressure way so you can feel at ease in front of the camera, even if you usually don’t enjoy being photographed. Most people tell me the session feels easier than they expected, which is always the aim.
I’ve been photographing for over 20 years, starting long before digital photography made things instant. Learning the craft the traditional way taught me how to work with light and timing, but more importantly, how to work with people.
That experience means I know how to guide gently when needed, adapt quickly when things change, and create images that feel natural rather than staged.
I’m drawn to the outdoors, simple living, and honest human stories. Living by the coast in Bournemouth, with easy access to the New Forest and Dorset countryside, shapes both my life and the way I work.
Those influences show up in my photography as a relaxed, grounded style. Images that feel confident without being showy. Real, without being overworked.
I’m especially well suited to people who want photography that feels personal rather than performative, images that reflect who they are, not who they think they should be.
If you’d like a relaxed, personal session, the £150 Relaxed Portrait Session is an easy, low-pressure way to get natural photographs and see if we’re a good fit.
People often arrive feeling unsure about being in front of the camera, and leave feeling relaxed, confident, and energised.
If you think we’d be a good fit, I’d love to hear about your ideas and see how I can help. No pressure — just a chat about what you need.
No pressure, just chat about what you need.
