A Morning of Strength and Dedication
Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph Sarah, a client of Matt at Beyond Condition Coaching (who I have worked with before photographing Matt and later his body building client Charlie). Sarah’s fitness journey started with running and marathons, but she craved more. She wanted to push her limits, build strength, and redefine her goals. With Matt’s guidance, she stepped into the world of weight training and never looked back.
To document her progress, we met at Destination Gym in Stoke at 6 AM—her chosen time for an uninterrupted session as Matt secured us private access to the gym before opening hours. The gym, a space known for its dedication to elite performance (with UK strongman Eddie Hall training there), was the perfect setting for Sarah’s shoot.
Capturing Strength, Emotion, and Growth
The session began with a warm-up and a quick chat about the shoot’s flow. Then, through my lens, I witnessed the results of Sarah’s dedication. The controlled power in her movements, the intensity in her expression—every frame told the story of her transformation.

There was even an attempt to lift Eddie Hall’s 100Kg dumbbells!
