I’m based in Bournemouth and work across Dorset and the New Forest as a wedding photographer. My approach is documentary-led and people-focused, telling the story of your day as it actually felt.

How I work

I don’t turn weddings into photoshoots.
Most of the day I’m quietly observing and capturing moments as they unfold.

When guidance is useful, such as during portraits or group photos, I keep things relaxed and straightforward. No awkward posing, no overworking. Just photographs that feel genuine and personal.

I focus on a limited number of weddings each year so I can give every couple the time, care, and attention their day deserves.

Meaningful Weddings, Big or Small

I love photographing weddings of all sizes, focusing on the moments and emotions that make each day unique. Smaller, intimate celebrations have a special closeness, but bigger weddings are just as full of laughter, love, and connection.

Whether it’s a ceremony in the New Forest, a weekday wedding by the sea in Bournemouth, a country gathering in Purbeck, or a larger celebration elsewhere in Dorset, I don’t try to control the day. My focus is always on capturing the real story, the laughter, the small gestures, and the moments that matter most.

I know Bournemouth, Purbeck, and the wider Dorset area well, from quiet beaches to hidden woodlands. My Dorset Wedding Photography covers weddings in the New Forest, along the coast, and in charming countryside venues.
